I have over 10 years’ experience advising individuals and charities in relation to contentious Will, Trust
and Estate cases.
My expertise extends to Court of Protection applications in respect of property and financial affairs matters, including applying for statutory wills and acting in contested deputy/attorney applications.
Prior to specialising in this niche area of law, I spent almost 10 years assisting and advising clients including residential landlords and tenants, as well as local authorities and registered providers of social housing, in respect of a range of property disputes. I initially qualified into that area of law as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2013.
I am known to be a very clear-headed and pragmatic adviser. My approach combines extensive litigation experience with emotional intelligence to ensure a client is carefully guided through the process of any dispute with their interests protected and a sensible resolution reached.
I regularly advise on the following:
- Claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975;
- Challenges to the validity of a will;
- Proprietary estoppel claims;
- Executor/beneficiary disputes;
- Challenges to lifetime gifts;
- Construction/rectification of a will;
- Professional negligence claims.
A little more about Sasha
Outside of work my time is spent having fun with my energetic children and taking care of our elderly pug. When time permits, I can be found listening to a podcast or reading a book about all things health, nutrition and fitness. I try to fit some weekly exercise in too!
