I advise individuals and families on all aspects of estate planning and administration, from preparing wills and powers of attorney to guiding clients through complex and often emotionally challenging probate matters with clarity and care.

I have 18 years' experience as a private client solicitor, including 15 years at Co-op Legal Services, where I went on to head a specialist probate team in Bristol. I work closely with clients to give practical, tax-efficient advice tailored to their circumstances.

I have particular expertise in administering complex estates, including those involving high-value assets, business interests, foreign property and complex intestacies.

Clients know me for my friendly professionalism, efficiency and clear communication. I build trusted relationships and make sure every client feels informed, empowered and supported at each stage.

A little more about Kate

Originally from the South Wales valleys, Kate now lives in Chepstow with her family, having previously spent many years living and working in Bristol. She enjoys the balance of a busy professional life in the city and weekends spent outdoors in the Forest of Dean.

Kate has two young children and is an enthusiastic Beaver Scout leader – regularly planning activities and camps to help children build confidence and learn new skills (including how to pitch a tent and toast a perfect marshmallow). She also plays netball every Monday evening and does her best to stay injury-free.

When time allows, Kate enjoys unwinding with a good book and cup of tea.

She is passionate about helping clients gain peace of mind in their planning, or closure during what is often a very difficult time. She considers it a privilege to be trusted with such personal matters and takes pride in offering reassurance, clarity and care throughout.
